Confined Spaces
Confined Spaces
This advanced multi-media based course is designed for individuals responsible for confined space entry or for planning and supervising employees that work in confined spaces. The course provides a detailed look at confined space regulations, the typical hazards involved, and a variety of control measures. The session also includes a number of hands-on exercises focusing on rescue, equipment application, maintenance and inspection.

Each year a number of people are injured or killed in “Confined Spaces”. Many of these casualties are other employees attempting to rescue their co-workers without proper training and equipment. This training program informs students of the requirements of WorkSafeBC and Canada Labour Code Safety Regulations in order to better prepare employees to work safely in and around confined spaces.

People who have to work in Confined Spaces have to be competent to do so in order to comply with the Confined Spaces Regulations.

Through discussion and activities, our professional facilitator will break down the regulation into terms you can understand. In eight hours, you'll learn practices and procedures that will keep you in compliance and, best of all, protect your employees.
