This course is intended for any personnel that will be managing a work site that contains confined
spaces and/or a worksite where employees enter confined spaces. Real case scenarios are examined.
This program meets the training requirements for supervisors of sites that contain confined spaces as
required by applicable regulations. This training includes not only the applicable regulations, but
also a more comprehensive air monitoring theory and practical training session as well as scenario
based evolutions based on the company’s procedures.
At the end of this highly interactive training, participants will be able to:
- Understand applicable laws governing supervision duties
- Understand the responsibilities of the employer, employee and supervisor for confined
space safety - Understand the governing bodies and regulations regarding confined spaces
- Understand the expectations and training requirements employees entering confined
spaces require - Show a working knowledge of major causes of fatalities/accidents
- Comprehend the requirements of a confined space entry program
- Perform atmospheric monitoring and understand toxicology
- Know when, where and why confined space documentation is required
- Keep the required records
