Operator Training and Certification

Arbor Safety Consulting has received approval by the Environmental Operators Certification Program for Continuing Education Units (CEU's) in the following Courses

 

Confined Space Course .7 CEU

 

Safety & The Supervisor.7 CEU

Safety & Health Management Basics .6 CEU

Safety Committee Basic Training . 6 CEU

Conducting an Accident Investigation .6 CEO

Identifying and Controlling Hazards . 6 CEU

First Aid Level 1 – WorkSafe BC .6 CEU

    Safety & The Supervisor

Operators certified as Small System Operators in water and wastewater facilities are required to take 12 hours of appropriate continuing education (1.2 CEU’s) every 2 years in order to hold a valid certificate.  Operators certified at Level I, II, III, and IV are required to take 24 hours of appropriate continuing education (2.4 CEU’s) every 2 years in order to hold a valid certificate.  In conjunction with the new requirements, operator certificate renewals will be based on 2 year terms instead of the current 1 year.
